Objective: Show where the gaps are, not just how many words are done.

Files:

  • Modify: progress.ex, add a StatsLive

Steps:

  1. Mastery by part of speech (nouns vs verbs vs function words) — function words are the ones
    that most often stall.
  2. Mastery by frequency band (1–100, 101–300, 301–600, 601–1000) — the classic "the first
hundred words are the hardest" view.
  3. Identical numbers for any source → target pair, so the view is language-agnostic.

Verify: fixture-driven; the bands sum to the deck's card count.
